The Ishgardian born Wildwood Elezen is the second child of Celestin and Florence de Duraveau. She grew up alongside her older brother Sebastién in Duraveau manor, across Borel manor. As a child she admired Estinien and Aymeric. She always cared for those who didn't have much and helped the people in the Brume as much as she could.
During her adventures she became a Scion of the 7th Dawn and continues to help wherever she can, right now exploring new places after a certain someone indicated she hasn't seen everything of her tiny Eorzea just yet.

Biography

Growing up in Ishgard, Qahnaarin learned from her parents how to be a genuine person, trying her best to help regardless of status. She decided to leave Ishgard when she was 18, but didn't leave until she was 25, heading to Gridania, where she joined the Archer's Guild. Her connection to Hydaelyn already obvious she became the chosen Warrior of Light and despite being not very happy with her companions at first, she continued on the way of the Crystal, walking the path of the Saviour of the Realm.Once she defeated the Ultima Weapon and returned to Ishgard, ending the 1000-year-old conflict between Dragon and Men, defeated Zenos' in the Royal Menagerie and saved the First from the overflowing light, she set out to defeat Fandaniel and Zenos, stopping Zodiarc being reborn and halting the Endsingers attempt to end each and every life, she returned to Ishgard to spend some time with her family before being called to Mor Dhona and starting a new adventure in Thavnair.Before ending the threat of the Endsinger she joined Zenos' 12th legion as a Tribunus, despite not really wanting to. Her memories were altered and she was given a Fantasia, changing her appearance as well to a Viera, from that day on being known as Qahnaarin sas Glacies. She fled when her memories returned, swearing vengeance on Zenos' and Fandaniel, which she ultimately got.

The Ancient self - Kore Selene:Back in Amaurot, when Etheirys was still whole, Qahnaarins name was Kore Selene, with her changing her gender occasionally to male, where she went by the name Kor. Some people misspelled her name as Kora, though she didn't really mind. Kore was the typical Azem, mischievous, fun-loving and just like her predecessor Venat, someone who liked to go onto Hades' nerves. As one of his best friends she got of the hook fairly easily, but also because she never meant harm and loved Hades unconditionally. Kores love for Hades, as well as Hythlodaeus, is more than just friendship, being enamored with them both.Kore is an Astrologian, but also can handle other professions, just like Venat did. Her favourite occupation is still Astrologian though, the mix of attacking and helping people making her the ideal companion. She wields the augmented Himeros, a gift she received from Hades before she left on her first journey after accepting the seat of Azem. Besides healing as an Astrologian, she wields a scythe in melee and a bow in distance combat. Some people say she turned to Hythlodaeus for training when wielding the bow, since he always was good with hitting the targets he had in his sight.Qahnaarin has lots of qualities from Kore Selene, mainly her mind for mischief, marksmanship and handling of a scythe. When she found out about her former self she promised not only Hades and Hyth, but also herself, that she'll reunite the shards of her soul to bring back the old Kore Selene, so she, Hades and Hythlodaeus can be reunited again. At first the ancient soul and Qahnaarin were separated entities, yet after defeating the Endsinger Kore Selene decided it would be best to reunited with her shard. Occasionally she is able to be summoned, Qahnaarin has received all the memories of Kore Selene so she knows what is supposed to happen once everything is done.

Family

Blood-related:
Her blood-related family consists of her father Celestin, her mother Florence as well as her brother Sebastién. While her parents reside in Duraveau manor in Ishgard, her brother has set out to become a Druid, later Whitemage, to help his sister out. While on his journey his interest turns to astrology, which leads him back to his home. He trusts his sister more the more he sees her in action and upon his return he is also sure that she will be in best shape once she comes back to Ishgard.
Along with her parents Qahnaarin is actually related to House Fortemps as her mother was a Fortemps before she married Qahnaarins and Sebastiéns father. Artoirel and Emmanellain are Qahnaarins second cousins, with Edmont being her great-uncle.Not blood-related family:
Qahnaarin considers Gaius Baelsar as her father away from home and treats him as such. With her joining Garlemald she's significantly hesitant though to meet him again.
She also considers her friends her family and would do anything for them. If they would get in danger, she'd be there to help.

Ships

Aymeric de BorelQahnaarin and Aymeric have been neighbours, so to speak. She used to look over to Borel manor when she was in her room and sometimes would catch a glimpse of him. She developed a little crush on him in her youth and when she left Ishgard it was him who tried to persuade her to stay alongside her father. However, she knew that once she left she would concentrate on something else than her crush on him. After all she still thought they would never be more than friends, her crush buried deep within her.

Estinien WyrmbloodBetween Qahnaarin and Estinien there was at first a small rivalry as she started her way as a dragoon pretty late. Her first encounters with him were already in Ishgard though when they were younger, only when she left Ishgard, they lost contact with each other. Qahnaarin does like Estinien and looks up to him as a true warrior and thinks he is quite cool. She also established a little crush on him, only letting something about this on when she's a little under the influence of alcohol.

Zephirin de ValhourdinA more uncommon romance between Ser Zephirin and Qahnaarin would have been if she stayed in Ishgard. Due to her trying to help the people from the Brume despite her being nobility, she sometimes got caught up with the knights. Zephirin one time caught her smuggling food to the Brume, but instead of chastising her, he simply asked her why. Qahnaarin, bold as she always was, answered that all people are the same and nobody deserves to live in poverty, without food or clothes. He was kind of impressed by her words and they often met up behind houses or somewhere not many people were, so they could talk and actually get to know each other. They fell for each other despite Zephirin being in the Heavens' Ward, so they kept it a secret.

Emet-Selch/HadesDuring her time in the First and getting to know Emet-Selch she found herself slowly falling for the old grumpy man, unknowingly because of her amaurotine self Kore Selene, who was also infatuated with Hades. She understood him and his motives, the fight against him breaking her heart. Though she knew it was necessary she didn't want it to get this far. Back in the Source she doubted herself and what she did was right. Whenever she decided to go back to the First she got into her room in Crystarium, hoping that she would somehow see Hades again, and finally tell him that she misses him.

HythlodaeusGiven the history between Kore Selene, Hades and Hythlodaeus it's no wonder Qahnaarin also felt the attraction to Hythlodaeus when she came to Elpis. Of course, the most prominent features - his eyes and giggle - had the biggest impact on her. When she came to Elpis, Kore Selene suggested to have a change of appearance to closely resemble her. Not only was that a bit of a selfish thought, but also with the idea of making her look more like Kore to support Hyths idea of her being her familiar. Needless to say, Qahnaarin and Kore Selene both fell for Hyths charming personality, yet actually having a relationship proves to be difficult...

I'm about to become a programmer, so if you catch me talking about programming and coding, that's why. I'm 25+ and usually I try to reply to RP interactions quite fast. But sometimes my muse can be quite low, so please bear with me, if I happen to have a low-period.I started playing FFXIV back in 2016, though I stopped later that year. I just recently restarted the game from the beginning in March 2020. Ever since then I have been enjoying the world of Eorzea and the story of the game so far. My main class is Bard and tbh...I always loved archery. Hence why I decided to pick up archer/bard in Final Fantasy. Since Endwalker I switched my main class to Reaper though ('cause Scythes are cool, okay? XD) and Bard being my secondary.
